Travel information
Arrival by planeIf you arrive at Dresden Airport take the urban railway (S-Bahn) to “Dresden Mitte“. From there you can walk to the Congress Center or take the tram over a very short distance in opposite direction (see map). Further convenient airports are Leipzig, Prague and most of all Berlin. From Leipzig and Prague you can take the train and from Berlin either the train or the BerlinLinienBus. BerlinLinienBusIf you arrive at one of the airports of Berlin, you can take a coach to Dresden. It is called “BerlinLinienBus“ and connects the airports of Berlin and the city center of Dresden a couple of times a day travelling approximately 2 hours. Get off at station “Dresden Schlesischer Platz“ which is in front of the train station “Dresden Neustadt“. The other stop “Dresden Bayerische Strasse“ is just in front of the main station. Public transport in DresdenThe tram stop you have to get off at is called “Kongresszentrum“.
