Travel information

Arrival by plane

If you arrive at Dresden Airport take the urban railway (S-Bahn) to “Dresden Mitte“. From there you can walk to the Congress Center or take the tram over a very short distance in opposite direction (see map).

Further convenient airports are Leipzig, Prague and most of all Berlin. From Leipzig and Prague you can take the train and from Berlin either the train or the BerlinLinienBus.

BerlinLinienBus

If you arrive at one of the airports of Berlin, you can take a coach to Dresden. It is called “BerlinLinienBus“ and connects the airports of Berlin and the city center of Dresden a couple of times a day travelling approximately 2 hours. Get off at station “Dresden Schlesischer Platz“ which is in front of the train station “Dresden Neustadt“. The other stop “Dresden Bayerische Strasse“ is just in front of the main station. Arrival by train

Trains arrive at stations “Dresden Neustadt“ and “Dresden Hauptbahnhof“ (main station).

Public transport in Dresden

The tram stop you have to get off at is called “Kongresszentrum“.

Arrival by car

Use the motorway A4, exit at “Dresden Neustadt“, then take the B6 and follow the signs indicating “Zentrum/Messe/Hafen“.

Public parking is available at MARITIM Hotel and International Congress Center for 1,50 Euros an hour or 14 Euros a day.
